Just Pre-ordered the new Fire tablet from Amazon. I had been contemplating getting the Fire HD6, but today, when I saw the email notification for the new Fire, I had to check it out. Being an Apple guy and having dearly loved my iPad Retina for many years now, I’ve always been a skeptic of Android based things. Lately, however, Apple has been getting a little squirelly. So the HD6, being so inexpensive, was a good way for me to explore something other than an Apple product, but the new Fire is downright CHEAP! Of course I immediately pre-ordered it and it should be here on the 30th. Full unboxing, first impressions and long term review to come soon.
